Rules and regulations
The legal basis for DANAK accreditation is stated in the Act on Promotion of Trade and Industry and in statutory orders. DANAK's assessment activities are based on standards in the DS/EN 45000 series, the DS/EN ISO/IEC 17000 series and DS/EN ISO 15189.
For these standards guidelines have been worked out by the European accreditation organization European co-operation for Accreditation (EA), International Accreditation Forum, Inc. (IAF) and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).
