Legal Metrology
The Danish Safety Technology Authority is responsible for the legislation of legal metrology. The Danish Accreditation and Metrology Fund administrates the legislation and performs tasks for the Danish Safety Technology Authority including:
Participation in international activities on drawing up regulations (EEC, OIML, WELMEC og CEN).
Contact to trade and industry, supply companies, consumers, laboratories and authorities.
Center for legal metrology (CLM) is a cooperation between testlaboratories, The Danish Safety Technology Authority and The Danish Accreditation and Metrology Fund with the purpose of strengthen the efforts for Danish trade and industry.
